The Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre is just five minutes from Cooinda and many local attractions are within easy travelling distance.
With its oasis style atmosphere, Cooinda Lodge offers an inviting shaded swimming pool, bistro-style dining, bars, petrol station and a store that offers locally-made crafts as well a wide range of essentials for touring.
Cooinda Lodge offers 48 spacious air-conditioned lodge rooms with full bathroom facilities and a television. Rooms can accommodate a maximum of 4 people, with rollaway beds and cots available for hire.

Come dine in a relaxed and down to earth Australian style bistro, pull up a seat outside in the spacious outdoor dining area or step into the brightly decorated indoor dining space. Our dishes use a mixture of native, local ingredients and classic favourites. A great family friendly environment, Barra Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Barra Bar is open until late and offers a wide range of beers, wine, and soft drinks, along with snacks.
A large, attractive swimming pool provides a welcome and cooling break between exploring Kakadu. Ideal for adults and children, the pool is open year round and sun chairs and lounges are available to relax poolside.
The tour desk has full details and booking facilities for all Kakadu National Park attractions. Yellow Water Cruises and 4WD Adventure Tours depart from Cooinda and are able to be booked as part of the Kakadu Tourism holiday experience.
The petrol station pumps are accessible during the following hours: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm (April to November) 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (November to March).
The private airstrip at Cooinda Lodge allows guests to charter a plane for a spectacular aerial view of Kakadu National Park.
