Step back in time at Ubirr, one of Kakadu’s most iconic sites, where ancient Aboriginal rock art tells stories that have been shared for thousands of years.
These remarkable paintings depict traditional hunting scenes, Dreamtime stories, and the deep cultural connection between people and Country. As you wander through Ubirr’s galleries, you’re walking among some of the world’s oldest and most significant rock art, a living window into Australia’s First Nations heritage.
Stay to the end of the day for the Ubirr sunset, a breathtaking view over the Nadab floodplain that will stay with you forever. 🌄
